Abstract
This presentation will focus on the music video "Fight Like a Girl" by Zolita. Written the day after Donald Trump became president of the United States, this song discusses how necessary it is for the women in our country to stand up for our own rights. The music video features a variety of women, from businesswomen to pole dancers, from Muslim women to transgender women. In this presentation I will discuss how the music video for "Fight Like a Girl" emphasizes the fact that all women are equally deserving of rights and respect, and we all must stand together if we hope for change.
