Abstract
We collected 2 water samples from a pond in Lancer Park, one from the surface and one from the ground level. The samples were plated and incubated to allow bacteria to grow. DNA was extracted from 3 colonies and a BLAST analysis was used to determine the closest matches to the species we collected.
