Abstract
The purpose of this presentation is to differentiate between opinion journalism and assertion articles. Our topic of early voting within a presidential election is important because people need to know the difference between reliable and unreliable information in order to stay accurately informed. This is crucial in viewers sharing only reliable and credible content instead of spreading false information. Sharing false or inaccurate information is detrimental to society because viewers have a false sense of a topic. Throughout this presentation, we will demonstrate the differences between opinion journalism and assertion articles through the deconstruction process of evaluating reliability we learned in class.
