Abstract
In this presentation, we discuss the prevalence of child marriage throughout the world. We recognize how women are negatively impacted and how it is a human rights issue. Additionally, we describe some women who are working to put an end to child marriage. We also mention ways that civilians can play a role in decreasing the prevalence of child marriage. Lastly, we describe how Longwood's Civitae curriculum has impacted us as students.
