Atheism is one of the fastest growing identities in the world, it is also an underrepresented and misunderstood minority group. This education session will aim to define atheism, highlight challenges atheist clients may bring to counseling, identify effective methods for working with this cultural group, and expand the ways counselors can advocate for clients who identify as atheist.
