Abstract

This thesis explores different perspectives through the eyes of adults and children and how those perspectives are formed by their relationships with the people around them.” It tries to focus on characters who are struggling to survive by realizing their own value. Whether they are surviving illness, death, abandonment, or midnight car rides with drunken parents, each of these characters tries to make sense of their world and how they fit into it.”
