Description

Storytelling is a powerful part of all societies. In this session, librarians gain lesson materials and instruction on how to collaborate with English, FACS, Creative Writing, and other teachers to teach the history of storytelling, basic plot development, evaluating children's literature, and writing children's books.

Additional Information

This is meant to help librarians find ways to collaborate with teachers to help students learn how to evaluate children's books and produce a book of their own. All materials and handouts will be provided to participants, including a presentations, rubrics, storyboards, etc.
