Looking for some new literacy approaches with K -3? Want to reinforce traditional skills in new platforms? This session will highlight some ways to support young learners as they read, write and think critically online and in print. We will look at a simple ebook-maker, blackout poetry using weeded library books, ways to build media literacy thinking, and more. We’ll also take a look at best practices re including young students as blog contributors and storytellers.
