Proposal Title
Treatment programs for Military Veterans with PTSD and Comorbid Mental Health Diagnoses
Topic
Counseling
Description
Throughout the world, there are veterans in inpatient treatment programs that have been diagnosed with PTSD (and possibly comorbid mental health diagnoses) that are entering the real world and not getting the help they need after treatment. Inpatient treatment programs are not focusing on each individual diagnosis for veterans with PTSD in order to see positive and effective changes. The comorbid mental health issues we plan to research include substance abuse, suicide, and pain symptoms.
