This article demonstrates the creation process and implementation process of an after-school program for a Title I elementary school. The steps of creation and implementation of the program are refined and specific, allowing detailed instruction. This program is made with a long term goal of creating a healthier community in the surrounding area through academic success in a lifetime. Through the program, students are taught strategies and given extra help and time to learn and understand the content given to them in school.
