Abstract

Maida Woods-Davis talks about how the closing of Prince Edward County Schools affected her family. She was born in 1959 so was young when the closings happened, but she remembers her siblings living in other states to get an education. She discusses learning more about the closings after she came to work for the school system, and how things have changed since that time.
