Abstract
In my study, A Child’s Perspective: Social Development, Gender Creative Parenting, and PK-12 Schooling, my central theme is gender creativity in schools and at home, and how these things interact and impact social development. Many researchers have looked into gender, social development, home and school expectations, and identity and roles, however I have yet to find research on the study of gender (and creativity within it specifically) and how it relates to schooling or social development, let alone all three topics combined. My research adds to many topic tables, while I believe simultaneously creating it's own table because I bring a lot into play that has not been looked at together before. My topic is not new, but it is to research, so there is a lot to be considered.
