Description

The purpose of this study is to determine what factors or information nurses take into consideration in order to provide proper care for patients. As information is gathered, it can reveal the specific impact it may have on the patient’s quality of life as well as identify possible discrepancies in the method of care for patients with dysphagia. This data will be gathered through a questionnaire and two case studies that assess nurses decision-making strategies in regard to administering medication to patients with dysphagia.
