Abstract
This thesis is a collection of short stories in which characters look back at the past, at truths they’ve learned and failures they’ve experienced, and look to the future for opportunities to make a better life for themselves and their loved ones. The idea of home plays a vital role in making decisions as to how to move on into a better future.
