As student diversity increases each year, so must teachers' understandings of teaching methods that address and embrace this diversity. Universal Design for Learning (UDL) is a framework that guides teachers into proactive differentation of instruction across all content areas. This presentation will focus on practical ways to use UDL to guide planning and implementation of developmental literacy instruction and learning.
