Instructional Design: Thinking outside the box

Description

Action research conduct at the Middle School level was the focus of this research. The participants of the quasi-experimental methods design were students who struggle to read. They were all sixth graders; some are students who are at risk for failure while others were students with exceptualities. All students received a specially designed instructional plan targeted to meet them where they are performing and support their academic growth. Students in this intervention group made substantial progress.
